Staff Ministry Overviews

The Ministry Team Leader is responsible for placing people on the various ministries of the Church based on their spiritual gifts, personalities and interests. This involves teaching Class 301 course and administering spiritual gifts inventories in order to help members identify and understand their gifts and passion for serving. This also involves advising members of ministry opportunities within the church and community.

The Worship Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of worship at Peoples Baptist Church in conjunction with the Pastor. These includes coordinating all programming aspects of the regular Sunday morning worship services, in order to create a God-honoring worship environment and experience that minister to the hearts and minds of our congregation.

The Discipleship Team Leader is responsible for developing the culture of spiritual maturity and discipleship at Peoples Baptist Church by encouraging and equipping members to take personal responsibility for their spiritual growth. This includes ensuring the congregation is maturing in the areas of Biblical formation and stewardship.

The Membership Team Leader is responsible for planning and coordinating Peoples Baptist Church’s fellowship activities. The Team Leader will recruit volunteers or contact appropriate ministry team leaders or team members for assistance as needed.

The Evangelism Team Leader is responsible for providing the leadership to develop and maintain the evangelism focus of the Church.

The Minister to Youth and Families works with children, youth, and their families to grow a dynamic ministry, equipping them with a deeper foundation of faith, a deeper sense of grace and an increased awareness for acts of compassion, resulting in a deeper desire to serve.

|
The Small Groups Team Leader is responsible for all aspects of the small groups ministry. The Small Groups Ministry Team is responsible for implementing the strategy for launching new small groups and maintaining existing groups.

|
The Visitation ministry is responsible for hospital and nursing home visits and home calls, to members and their families who are in need of our support and encouragement.
